10 Reasons for partnering with a meeting production company for meetings

At Grass Shack Events and Media we believe that you should have total control over your meeting or event. Here are 10 reasons why should should be using a meeting production company or event management company.
1 Strategy development- event strategy- strategy management – planning- theme development- event marketing solutions
2 Set design & set designs (including stage and lighting design)
3 Creative engagement ideas – scripting, music, I-mag or corporate theatre
4 Video production- live, web, broadcast…..also includes opening videos and transitions
5 Recording your live program, audio recordings
6 Live streaming, hybrid events, simulcast, webinars
7 Teleprompter and audience response systems, twitter stream
8 Graphic design company- graphic design, logos, powerpoint-keynote templates, motion graphics- multi media creative and design
9 Live entertainment for openings and transitions including motivational speakers
10 Meeting and event support, event management (a meeting production team that cares- piece of mind)
An event management production company can do as much of this list, or as little. We believe you should have to have total control of your message to engage, educate and get your attendees networking so they can learn from each other to maximize your meeting experience, and meetings return on investment.
Tonight we are working with the company Zuberance in San Francisco for a social media event if you would like to attend. More information check the Zuberance blog.
Zuberance is to enable marketers to harness the power of social media to drive qualified leads, traffic, and sales.
Tonight’s panel will discuss:
“Can social media and word of mouth marketing make me money?” We see examples of it all the time happening, but no one seems to be offering up any prescriptive solutions. Is there a formula for employing social media to drive measurable increases in qualified leads, traffic, and sales?
Michael Brito, VP of Social Media, Edelman Digital
Rob Fuggetta, Founder & CEO, Zuberance
Tony Lee, VP of Marketing, TiVo
Becky Brown, Director of Social Media Strategy, Intel

Mike McAllen: Welcome back to the Meetings Podcast. This is Mike McAllen with Grass Shack Events and Media. I wanted to welcome you back. It is a very early October 26th, Tuesday, 2010. Today, we’re going to be talking a little bit about meeting production. We have 10 reasons for partnering with a meeting production company for your meetings. You know here at Grass Shack Events and Media, we believe that you should have total control over your meeting or your event. And these are the 10 reasons I came up with this morning that I thought maybe you should think about and why you should use a production company.
Number one; event strategy, planning and theme development. Number two; set design and environmental room design that of course includes the stage and the lighting designs. Three, creative engagement ideas; scripting, music, iMax, corporate theater. Number four; video production, live web broadcast. This also includes all the videos you might need for an opening video or a testimonial or transitional videos are very engaging. Number five; record your program, an audio record or video record. Number six, live streaming, hybrid events and simulcast. Number seven; teleprompter and audience response systems. Eight; graphic development, PowerPoint motion graphics and all the multimedia creative designs you need to make your look and feel match that set design and environmental design, and of course, your event strategy. Nine; live entertainment for openings and transitions, motivational speakers and all types of speakers. We also will work with your own speakers to make sure that they are tight and they’re presentations are good. Number ten and the most important one; meeting and event support, really a team that cares and gives you that piece of mind that you know that all of your meeting is going to go up without a hitch, so those are the 10 reasons for partnering with a meeting production company for meetings.
I wanted again try and keep these meeting podcast short during the week in the morning because I need to get coffee in the morning before I do this and it’s impossible because all the stores are closed. But tonight if you want to get together, we will be producing a small event in San Francisco for Zuberance, and I thought that might hit home for some of you who are kind of ahead of the times and involved in social media. It’s a social media event and it’s tonight in San Francisco. It’s for Zuberance. Zuberance is it enables marketers to harness the power of social media to drive qualified leads, traffic, and sales. And tonight they’re going to have a panel discussion which seems to be very interesting. I’m looking forward to it. It’s “Can social media and word of mouth marketing make me money?” So I’ll read that again, “Can social media and word of mouth marketing make me money?” We see examples of it happening all the time, but no one seems to be offering up any prescriptive solutions. Is there a formula for employing social media to drive measurable increases in qualified leads, traffic, and sales? You can find out more about it by going to blog.zuberance.com.
On the panel will be Michael Brito, VP of Social Media at Edelman Digital; Rob Fuggetta who is the Founder & CEO of Zuberance; Tony Lee who is the VP of Marketing, TiVo; and Becky Brown, Director of Social Media Strategy at Intel. The whole thing is going to be moderated by Anthony Ha who was the assistant editor at VentureBeat.
