Alissa Hurley has over 20 years of experience in corporate events and marketing –working with hundreds of clients in many industries – from tech start-ups to financial powerhouses, non-profit organizations and global brands across North America and Europe. A tech-savvy, digital and event strategy dynamo, Alissa’s past experience includes senior management roles at Maritz and Lenos Software, where she was recognized for developing innovative client solutions while maintaining a dedicated focus on achieving strategic business objectives. As National Director, Client Solutions & Emergent Technologies at FMAV, Alissa’s mandate includes marketing, MediaLab, and leading a team of solution specialists focused on developing next-generation event technology solutions. Alissa has been featured in industry publications and as a speaker at various industry events including BizBash, IncentiveWorks and FICP conferences and achieved the Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM) in 2006. A true digital ambassador and champion for education in the space, Alissa also teaches online through Mount Royal University’s Event Management program.
