10 steps to creating a corporate Powerpoint template

1) Win the business.

2) Celebrate.

3) Get to work.

4) Research: Gather logos, style guides, target audience, technologies to be used.

5) Design and let client look over comps.  Usually we provide three variations or comps.

6) Design finalized after changes.

7)  Client delivers content of the slides.

8) Cleanup and formatting into template.

9) Final Sign-off

10) Email executive the speaker template.

Obviously, this is a perfect world, which we get to visit sometimes.  :)   If these steps are followed you will have a successful template development.

Top 2 Best Presentations

How important is it to engage your audience? I recently attended a roll out of a new executive team at a Fortune 100 company event and I could not believe how distracting the PowerPoint was. Small fonts, tiny unreadable charts and more than one read his presentation straight from the screen. Horrible color and flow which did not go with the conference template. Below are the finalists for the website Slideshare.com here notice the use of pictures and graphics, big fonts, and minimal text. Also many other categories to look at. STEAL STEAL STEAL these ideas for your presentations! Thanks to Guy Kawasakis blog for this information and also to Guy for featuring MeetingsPodcast on Alltopic.com! It is important to entertain, engage and educate your audience. Now you have no excuse not to. Still need help? Email us and we will point you int he right direction.
