Creativity comes from your imagination. Meeting planner should think about how to get audiences to be engaged and to think about ways to reach them and move them to action.
Meetings 101 events management addresses your audience engagement levels in your conference agenda. One way is using a character driven meeting or video, to engage and provide a voice for your audience. It can be a very powerful to have a character come in and be the voice of your audience. In most internal meetings asking a question is a career move. In a meeting you can use projection, comedians, actors and puppets to engage your audience. A sketch group can also be a great way to transition from session to session in your general session. Plus working with the talent you can provide the takeaways to seed the following sessions ideas and give direction to your event management strategy.
The much needed comedy can provide the audience a break in large data dump type meetings. Remember that the food, great drinks and venue is just the beginning. Make sure you also are Engaging, educating and getting your audiences talking.
Another way to control your transitions is to use real actors or animated video characters to your agenda to provide transitions or seed the meetings message for the whole event as an opening video, to transition to the next session, or to close out the day on a high note.
Have you ever used a character to drive your event or meeting? If so, what was it? Was it well received?
How about using Marcel the talking clam?
