Will MacWorld lose Exhibitors to CES next year?

Living in San Francisco and an avid Mac user I thought this was an interesting.
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) announced would feature an Apple-centric area going forward, CES is planning a space at the 2010 show specifically devoted to space for manufacturers of iPhone and iPod-related accessories, products and services which basically litters the whole MacWorld floor every year now. (Both conferences are basically at the same time)

So every conversation I have about meetings and events these days always turns to next year. Basically, that we all will have no events to work on. Or just really scaled back shows. Which is always an exciting highlight for MacHeads. His presentations are talked about whenever you read a Duarte, Garr, Kawasaki talking about how to give a great speech. [Read more...]

Steve Jobs at the Whiteboard

I caught this post of Steve Jobs on the Presentation Zens blog this morning. As Garr said it is interesting on how Steve talks about the market, competition, sales, challenges and solutions. Engaging the audience with the questions “Who is our target customer? Why are they selecting our product over the competition’s? What distribution channels are we going to use?” It is great to see how Steve has evolved his presentations. Its also pretty fun to watch. Also gives us some inspiration that even if something does not work out as expected (like the company he is talking about) you still can go on to build great things.
