PCMA Day 2 & 3
After a couple of more days here at PCMA I got a break to write something before heading back to the Dallas Convention center for another general session this morning.
This is one of the best industry events I have been to. The vibe of the event is buzzing. The energy is very high. Little background on PCMA because I was asked by a couple of industry folks not here what the heck is PCMA? Should I go next year? I do think this is a worthwhile event. Little overwhelming, but great information and networking. I even came across some new business yesterday. (always a good thing!)
PCMA is the Professional Convention Management Association which formed in 1957. They represent the interests of meeting management executives from associations and corporations.
Here is a few shots of the PCMA-
New attendee session. A really great networking session followed and was moderated by Michael McCurry.

One of the many bus rides. Notice Industry veteran Michael McCurry taking the time to mentor a student.
Fantastic opening session with four wide screens, picture in picture graphics, corporate theater, music and dancers. Pretty great job by the PCMA production team. I was impressed.
